    TORONTO’S #1 NEWS

It still amazes me that I worked for CTV Toronto. When I was a kid I wanted to be a CFTO news reporter. And for 15 years I was. The fact I worked out of “The Much Music Building” at 299 Queen Street West was another career dream come true.

    SPORTS REPORTER LANCE BROWN

was like a big brother. A much, older, less attractive big brother. Which is why we razzed each other on-air.

People thought we hate each other but I’d only actually met the guy once and he smelled very nice.

    WE HAVE CLEARANCE, CLARENCE

I was also the guy in airport departure lounges and your seatback screen. Once, a fellow passenger had no idea the guy sitting beside him was the one he was watching on TV.

Play by play on the markets was the closest I got to the game of hockey

    The Close
    Breaking news after the bell

After hours market reaction to breaking news was one of my biggest news thrills

Analysing the future direction of the markets was a great challenge

Always with the dramatic walking from story to story. You should see my Fitbit stats

    Marketcall
was by far my favourite program

It was a blast talking to people on the other side of the television set

60 straight minutes with some of the smartest investors was an education

It’s the most watched show on BNN

    680 News
I spent 6 years at Canada's #1 All News Radio Station
    1 Million Listeners
During my time anchoring the afternoon drive show with Ann Doose, I played a critical role in helping the station reach a major milestone
    Energetic Ideas
The reporter at the scene you hear in the :00/:30 opening headlines, the stinger going into the :15 update, and the closing bell were ideas that became integral to the sound of the station
    First Business Reporter
I had the honour of being the first business reporter at an all news radio station in Canada, reporting on the rise of Research in Motion and the fall of Nortel Networks
    History Making
My station mug reads “News Every 20 Minutes” and I own the original :40 news theme that was scrapped for “News Every 30 Minutes” a year later

I'm still working on my passion projects:
