Today’s iFamily: Calendar Sharing

There’s no better way to ensure little Suzy gets to gymnastics on time than a calendar that the family has with them at all times. In six steps you’ll synchronize a family calendar with every iOS device in your home.

[dropcap2]1[/dropcap2]Tap “Calendars” at the bottom of your screen to pull up the list of all your calendars.

[dropcap2]2[/dropcap2]Tap the Edit button to create a new calendar.

[dropcap2]4[/dropcap2]Give the Calendar a name and choose a colour so it stands out against your personal calendar. I live in a house of girls, so naturally I’m partial to purple.

[dropcap2]5[/dropcap2]Once you’ve created the calendar, tap it and add your family members to it.

[dropcap2]6[/dropcap2]For the calendar to sync with that person, you need to use the email address or mobile phone number that’s used with their iCloud account. Once you’ve added someone, you can adjust the settings to allow them to edit, or stop sharing.

This is a great feature for small businesses, teams and clubs, too.
